Many people's first impression of area rugs is that it is difficult to maintain, and it is time-consuming and easy to soil. The fast-paced life of modern society makes many people feel that area rugs are a luxury and do not have so much time to clean them. In recent years, with the gradual improvement of the quality of life and the awakening of people's awareness, more and more families have begun to choose household area rugs. As area rug technology advances, today let's take a closer look at how area rugs have changed.

Ⅰ. What is area rug?

An area rug is a soft woven or hand-woven material laid flat on the ground, consisting of a combination of an area rugs surface and a base plate, the area rugs surface has natural fibers such as wool, and synthetic fibers such as nylon; the bottom is then covered from the bottom. After the weaving is completed, it is laid on the ground by professional construction, adding color art to the ground and making the feet feel comfortable.

Ⅱ. The history of area rugs

The area rug is an object with a long history. It has experienced the influence of history and culture, washed for thousands of years, and still shines with its unique light; the historical birthplaces of world area rugs mainly include China, Persia, Egypt and India.

Chinese area rugs originated more than 2,000 years ago, with a history of more than 3,000 years of physical research; Chinese area rugs originated from nomadic tribes in the minority areas of northwest China. In 1959 and 1978, Chinese archaeologists found fragments of area rugs dating back about 3,000 years in Henan and other places. Unfortunately, our ancestors left no documented method of area rug weaving.

The study found that the hand-weaving method of area rugs thousands of years ago is basically similar to the modern area rug weaving technique - the knots are made of delicate horseshoe buttons (Turkish knot method).

With the development of modern society, this handmade area rug has changed from pure hand weaving to hand gun thorn weaving. This method preserves the high-quality materials of the handmade rugs, which not only reflects the exquisite craftsmanship, but also greatly saves the production time.

Ⅲ. How to lay the area rug

1) The area rug laying is very environmentally friendly and dust-free, and the daily laying requires the ground to be flat and clean;

2) Area rug paving can be roughly divided into three paving methods: fixed paving with thorn strips, paving with double-sided adhesive and square area rug paving.
