Hotel carpets are configured according to different types of hotels. The hotel carpet is unified with the tone of the overall design of the hotel. What's more, the pattern is unified with the overall space style to achieve the purpose of changing the environment and enhancing the taste.

1. The hotel carpet is based on the external environment

According to the local annual average temperature, rainfall, air quality, sanitary and greening conditions and other factors, a comprehensive analysis is carried out, and the most suitable hotel carpet category is selected. Otherwise, the improper selection will cause problems in the use and subsequent maintenance of the carpet.

Regional differences are manifested in climate differences, the overall urban environment, climate humidity, air purification degree, and economic conditions. For example, people enter and leave the hotel in winter with lots of snow and ice will cause certain pollution to corridors and room carpets; areas with poor air quality will be brought into the hotel with people due to poor indoor airtightness, which makes it harder to the maintenance of hotel rugs. From another perspective, it is the reason for the need to spread carpets. At the same time, it has also played a role in changing the way people behave.

2. The overall design of hotel carpet patterns and tones should be coordinated

Different weaving methods of the hotel project carpet can bring different effects. For example, solid-colored carpets or dark-patterned carpets with strong textures in business public spaces can be chosen; choose high-pile carpets to improve softness and carpet specifications in the guest rooms.

The color, pattern, and form of hotel carpets and the relationship between the hotel's indoor environment and background are all that designers must pay attention to. The color of the carpet should be consistent with the overall tone of the hotel's indoor environment and should be reasonably matched with the colors of the wallpaper, wall panels, furniture, textiles, and furnishings. If each color of the colorful carpet can be more or less echoed in the walls, furniture, fabrics, and furnishings, then it can achieve an overall harmonious state.

There may be two situations in the laying of pure-color hotel carpets. First, the pure-color carpet that matches the indoor environment color system will become the main color of the interior design and the background of the furnishings; second, the pure color carpet, like our blue modern carpet series, that contrasts with the indoor environment color system will add a cheerful and pleasant atmosphere to the interior.

Plain carpets are softer and more elegant in color, and carpets that emphasize leisure styles have more prominent requirements for texture performance. Special carpet textures have become an important decorative surface that reflects stylish, modern, and simple interior spaces.

3. Correspondence between hotel carpet pattern and usage area

Choose according to the function of the area, whether it is room carpet, modern corridor carpet, or restaurant carpet. The hotel is composed of multiple different functional areas, which are usually divided into various types of spaces such as public space, functional space, and virtual space.

The different needs of the nature of the interior space, the selection of different carpet categories, and patterns are unified with the overall environmental design. Patterns, colors, and textures need to be designed according to space functions, behaviors, and furniture layouts. For example, the style of the hotel banquet hall and the external public space are unified, banquet carpet is more exquisite with complicated banquet hall carpet texture while external public space carpets are more wear-resistance.

In addition to the monochromatic muscular or quadrangular continuity patterns in the design of guest room space hotel carpets, the scattered patterns are designed on the basis of the furniture layout.

4. Laying methods of hotel carpet

Hospitality area rugs are divided into two types: Fully covered by machine-woven and regional machine-woven, semi-handmade carpets. Unfortunately, few architects can carry out the architectural design to every detail including the carpet design. And interior designers may not always be able to observe and grasp the architect's intentions well. As for textile designers, under limited conditions, they may be less likely to cooperate with the first two.
